Frequently Asked Questions

You've got questions, we've got answers. Honestly, we have subscribed to the clubs we promote and we have been overly impressed by the quality of selection, service, and books. With that said, here are a few common question we get:

Are these clubs Risk-Free?
With most of the clubs we feature, your satisfaction is guaranteed and your membership is risk-free. If you're not completely satisfied with your membership, contact customer service for the club you are a member of for instructions on how to cancel your membership. Details vary by club, so please be sure to read the membership agreement before joining.

How much can I really save?
Between special introductory offers and the great member pricing, the average member saves up to $170 during the lifetime of their membership.

What are the membership fees (monthly and annual)?
Most of the clubs we feature have no monthly or annual membership fees. You only need to purchase a few more books at the regular low prices during your membership (see book club membership agreement for details).

Is there a fee for simply enrolling into a book club?

Will this book club send me books that I do not ask for, but that I am expected to pay for anyway?
Most clubs send you a packet every month which includes the latest catalog and tells you what the selection for the month is. If you do not respond to this mailing within the time provided, they will send you a book and you will be expected to pay for it. As an alternative, you can log on to the website and deny or accept the monthly selection up to 3 months in advance.

Are there any other hidden fees and commitments to which I would be obligated if I join this book club?
NO. The only obligation is to purchase a few more books at the regular low prices during your membership (see book club membership agreement for details). Then you may cancel at any time. As far as fees, there is a late fee (around $4.00) if you don't pay your invoice on time.

Is there a telephone number or e-mail address that I can use to contact the book club i joined directly?
Yes, there is an email address available. Visit our book club contact list for a list. At this time, we do not have contact phone numbers.

Disclaimer: Answers are correct at the time of this writing. If a club changes its policies, we can not be held responsible. Please be sure to read the membership agreement before joining any club.
