“Father Sebastian’s lips formed a smile, but there was a coldness in his eyes that Ryan had never seen before. ‘I needed help, and God has sent me you….’
‘I—I don’t think God chose me for anything,’ Ryan said.
‘Ah, but He did,’ the priest said moving closer…. A second later Father Sebastian’s free hand was clamping some kind of wet rag over his mouth and nose. ‘It’s all right, Ryan,’ he heard Father Sebastian say. ‘When you wake up, you’ll be a new person.’”
The death of his father has taken an emotional toll on 15-year-old Ryan McIntyre, prompting his mother to enroll him in St. Isaacs, a Catholic School noted for dealing with troubled teens. Also new at the school is Father Sebastian, a young priest exceedingly popular with the students. Only a few in St. Isaacs’ upper echelons know the charismatic Father is a specialist in exorcism.
Ryan notices several friends behaving strangely after they emerge from the dark tunnels beneath the school…in the priest’s company. Where do these passages lead? Perhaps Ryan should be more troubled by what they hide. For like his friends, he will soon come face to face with a demonic evil spewed from the bowels of hell. And to break its hold, he’ll have to confront the devil himself…. Explicit violence.
